Chrysa is a wedding and portrait photographer who has been documenting stories for over a decade. Although New York is home base, Chrysa's work has taken her all over the state, into different corners of the country as well as internationally. Marrying a documentary approach with an eye for editorial, Chrysa offers well-balanced candid and guided moments that exude effortless elegance. Pulling inspiration from light, movement, fashion and the nostalgia of film, Chrysa has infused both digital and film into her work to blend of timeless and refined imagery. Above all else, the connection and rapport built with each person has become essential in capturing the genuine, intimate interactions throughout the day. When she isn't behind a camera Chrysa is usually throwing a dinner party "just because", thrifting with friends or traveling.
